A National Dharma Celebration in Swansea

Freedom from Anxiety, Stress and Fear: The Empowerment of Green TaraWith Kadam Bridget Heyes, U.K. National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition

Learn to live in the midst of chaos with a calm and fearless heart and transform sorrow into compassion.

We are living in extremely busy, demanding and uncertain times.

So it is not surprising that most of us suffer from anxiety, stress and deep down are fearful of what the future might bring.

Although external situations may be out of our control, we can control the effect this has on our mind.

On the Saturday Kadam Bridget will grant the empowerment of Green Tara, whose special function is to bless our heart with fearlessness, wisdom and compassion.  On Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning she will give an essential commentary to the practice.

The Teacher

Kadam Bridget Heyes is the UK National Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition.  A senior disciple of the NKT’s founder, Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, she has been practising Kadampa Buddhism for over 25 years.  Kadam Bridget’s teachings are exceptionally clear and powerful.

She presents profound ideas in a way that are easy to practise and integrate into daily lives.  As a mother of two she has a special insight into how to bring Buddhism alive to meet the demands of busy modern life.  Kadam Bridget shows an inspiring example for everyone on the spiritual path.
