Retreat: step back and reflect on a better way to go forward.
This January 2018, Kalpa Bhadra Kadampa Buddhist Centre will be hosting a relaxing and inspiring retreat, to help you to be ready for the challenges of the new year.
- Methods to overcome daily difficulties, stress and anxiety
- Guided by qualified teacher, Buddhist nun Gen Kelsang Oden
- Meditations with step-by-step instructions
- Develop inner peace and positive states of mind
The Lamp that Lights the Path to Enlightenment, half day course, Saturday January 13, £15 includes high tea
In this half day course, which is perfect preparation for your retreat, you will come to understand how to begin, make progress on and complete the path to enlightenment, in a step-by-step way, which is logical, practical and applicable to your daily life right now.
‘Enlightenment’ is the supreme goal of human life. An enlightened being has trained their mind in the stages of the path – through renunciation, universal love, great compassion and wisdom – and so experiences ultimate happiness and freedom from suffering. This sublime goal is available to everyone.
14 – 19 January, Sunday to Friday – Meditations to Inspire and Heal
Throughout the week, we will have sessions in the day and evening to allow you to continue your retreat, whether you can attend in the day or are working.
