A Public Talk

Saturday 16 October | 10.00 – 11.15 am

A talk exploring the relationship between our mind and body. If someone where to ask us what is the nature of our mind and how our mind and body are related, we likely would not be able to give a clear and logical explanation which correlates with our experience. Thinking carefully, contemplating and meditating on this topic leads to very helpful insights which can help us both now and in the long term.

“The essential point of understanding the mind is that liberation from suffering cannot be found outside the mind. Permanent liberation can be found only by purifying the mind. Therefore, if we want to become free from problems and attain lasting peace and happiness we need to increase our knowledge and understanding of the mind.”

Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
