Free Sunday Morning Meditation Class
Prayers for World Peace, 10.30 – 11.30am
Each week includes a guided breathing meditation, followed by a short talk based on The New Eight Steps to Happiness by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. The instructions in this book help us to cultivate a mind of loving kindness and show us how training in love, compassion and patience can turn every daily situation, even difficult ones, into opportunities for spiritual growth.
Following the teaching, there are special prayers for World Peace and an opportunity for reflection. You are then welcome to stay after for coffee and cake and a chance to have your questions answered by our teacher.
This class is free and everyone is welcome! No need to book, just drop in!
