Everyone is welcome to this Meditation Course. This class is suitable for everyone from complete beginners to experienced meditators.

Meditation is becoming increasingly recognized as an effective means to reduce stress and improve our quality of life, however, it also has much deeper and far-reaching benefits that have been understood by Buddhist practitioners for thousands of years.

During this series of classes, be guided by an experienced practitioner through several meditations that can be reproduced at home, learn how to improve mindfulness and concentration; as well as how to set up a regular meditation practice. There will also be an opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance on how to improve your meditation practice.
Breathing Meditation – Classes start with a 10-minute breathing meditation, designed to settle the mind and let go of distractions, in order to get the most out of the session.
Short Break – The middle of the class consists of practical teachings on how to begin and make progress in meditation. Each week is self-contained but the topics covered will vary each week exploring a variety of meditations that can be reproduced at home.
Concluding Meditation – The final meditation will last around 15-20 minutes and vary depending on the focus for the week. This will help us to improve our practical experience of meditation and enable us to carry the insights we gain into our daily life with mindfulness.
There will also be an opportunity to ask questions at the end.
