The Mirror of Dharma

Meditation day course with Resident Teacher Gen Kelsang Leksang

Saturday 12th October

10am-4pm

An ordinary mirror just reflects a superficial appearance of our body, whereas the Mirror of Dharma shows us clearly why we experience problems, unhappiness and anxiety and shows us practical steps for overcoming these problems.

‘We can see and find the sun of the supreme happiness of enlightenment from the Mirror of Dharma. How fortunate we are’
Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche

Dharma means the teachings of enlightened beings which function to heal and protect our minds from the root causes of all suffering and thereby help others to do the same. By practising Dharma, we can achieve the real meaning of human life.

On this course Gen Leksang will share practical advice from the book by Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche The Mirror Of Dharma on how we can solve our daily problems of uncontrolled desire, anger and ignorance and how to make our human life meaningful. She will also guide us through meditations that enable us to transform our mind and find deep inner peace.

This course will provide a review of some of the key points from the  book The Mirror of Dharma that will be presented at the International Fall Festival in Arizona in September-October 2019.
